Not every dad is a suit-and-tie kind of guy. If he's happiest in the garage or on the construction site, check out the clothes and accessories at Duluth Trading Co. (1-800-505-8888, www.duluthtrading.com ). The company's clothing for guys is tested on tradesmen in the field, not Calvin Klein models. Even the copy doesn't read like anything you'll see in a department store ad. The performance boxers ($19) "wick away sweat and stink" and come with a fly with button enclosure "to prevent surprise exposures." They also sell a T-shirt with an extra-long tail ($14.50) to cover "plumber's butt." The Fire Hose work pants ($49.50), made from, yes, fire hose material, have a "dare you to wear them out" guarantee. Prices aren't Wal-Mart cheap, but everything has a lifetime guarantee. Also check out the sale section online, which is organized by how long the items have been on clearance, with escalating discounts each week up to five weeks. Duluth Trading was started in 1991 by two brothers and now is located in Belleville, Wis.

Q: I need some more underwear and I'm trying to decide whether to get a pair of emporio armani stretch cotton black boxer briefs or a pair of calvin klein classic black boxer briefs. I'm only going to buy one of them so please don't suggest getting both or going with a generic brand (ie fruit of the loom or hanes)
Suggestions?
A: armani ones are more comfortable to me- they hold their shape better than the calvin kleins, and don't ride up as much.

Q: Compared to Calvin Klein 365 boxer briefs if you know or just a general estimate if you only know about the Cotton Basics button fly boxer brief.
A: They are a bit shorter than the 365 and tighter in the leg
I buy my Boyfriends briefs, he used to wear Calvin all the time, then started with Polo but they are quite tight, now he is using Tommy and he is quite happy, not too tight, not too short, fit well and have the right length
