How can I permanently stretch my Diesel jeans?
Posted by ayermishkin in Fashion & Accessories @ Feb 03, 2008
Q: I just bought a pair of Diesel jeans but they are one size short of what I would usually wear. Unfortunately they don't make the size I want. I bought 31/30 and I need 31/31. I really like those jeans and I don't want to get a 31/32 because it would be too long.
Is there a way to permanently stretch my new pair of jeans up to 31 in length?
Thanks.
A: It would be easier to buy the 32" and hemmed it to your desired length. Potentially, you could take the 30" to a tailor and ask him to let the length out a bit, but that depends on how much extra fabric your jeans has. I am not aware of any permanent way of stretching them out at home.
You could take them to a tailor.
They can do somthing about it.

A: You probably cannot stretch them, but you can keep them from shrinking. Try washing in cold (inside out) and hanging to dry. The weight will pull the length down slightly and not using heat will keep them from shrinking up. I wash all my jeans this way to keep the spandex from making them shrink.
