The news was bad enough earlier this week. The Baltimore mayor's proposed budget could mean eliminating up to 200 city police officers, ground the helicopter and the marine unit and permanently stable the horses.
But Police Commissioner Frederick H. Bealefeld III made a far more dire pronouncement on Thursday (he's at left in a photo by The Sun's Amy Davis). A $16 million cut would actually mean cutting up to 300 police officers . That's because the folks suggesting the cuts picked cops from units such as tactical, where some of the department's most experienced -- and thus highest paid -- officers can be found.
City police are unionized, and that means cuts come from the bottom up. You'd have to fire two rookie cops to meet the salary savings of one veteran. And you wouldn't be eliminating specialized units -- you'd be cutting from patro, the backbone of the department.
"They're pushing radio cars in districts," Bealefeld said at the City Hall meeting. "They serve in the patrol division.Their staff midnight shifts in the neighborhood. Q: I am looking for a men diesel watch model number dz4016 i found it on ebay but way to much money they have it over priced its like double almost tripple the amount. does any one no where i can i find it at maybe a store or another website. help gift for my boyfriend he loves it!!!!! oh i live in toronto if someone know a store around here. thanks
A: I found it on eBay for $104.46 and $11.83 s/h, factory sealed (item #280054786830). It retails for almost $200 bucks, so I'd consider that reasonable. I also looked it up on www.wristwatch.com and they want $152. eBay is your best bet.

Q: Hi I wanna buy my boyfriend a watch for Christmas but I'm not sure what brand to settle on. I've looked in Myer and I found a few nice Diesel watches. I'm wanting to spend no more than about $180 so I was wondering if any of you know about the quality of Diesel watches or could recommend a watch brand.

A: I loooooove GUESS Men's watches. I have a Guess watch myself and it's great. I'd go with that, it's within your price range
