TURIN, Italy - Toronto's Patrick Chan believes in dreaming big. But somewhere between climbing down off the podium at last year's world championships and gliding onto the ice at the Vancouver Olympics, the figure skater lost sight of the steps along the way.
A fifth-place finish in his Olympic debut was the pin to his balloon. And a day after somewhat salvaging a frustrating season with his second world championship silver medal, Chan said it was a difficult lesson learned.
"I think I was probably engulfed in the whole media attention. It's hard," the 19-year-old admitted. "It's easy to get wound up, thinking, 'Maybe I am going to win a gold medal.' I would go to bed and see myself at the end of the program, pumping my fists (in victory).
"It turned out completely different to what I thought it was going to turn out this season. Especially the Olympics."
Chan made a considerable splash on the world skating stage when he captured silver last year in Los Angeles. His next stop: the Olympic podium. Or so he believed.
"I think for coins won in Vancouver thinking 'I certainly use my right track medallist in the world, so I do not see why not'," Mahajan said. "That is the problem my own type of thought found in the base. not occur. Thus was destroyed after the order.

Q: I've finally have enough money and decided to buy a Guess watch and this two caught my attention the most. I love both but i LOVE the gold one the MOST.
The only thing that bothers me is the tone. Will the Gold tone on Guess watches fades? or will it lasts? If i use it all the time (college, work, hangout w/friends, parties, etc) how long do u think will the color lasts?

Please help. If lots of ppl say the gold color wont last, i'll go for the silver =)
A: i love guess watch so much, but when im goin to buy a guess watch i usually buy the silver tone because i could wear it anytime and it matches to my clothes to wear, the gold tone i think you can wear it occassionally depends what you wear and the color will fade specailly when your sweating and your using it everyday it fades away, If it is pure gold then why not.......
the color will most likely fade if it is only gold tone. if it was pure gold, then, obviously, no. good luck. oh and personally i like the white gold looking one. it reminds me of platinum

Q: When i went to cyprus about 2 years ago. my dad saw this guess watch that he loved i remmeber only little details about it thou. it was gold with dimonties at the back of the watch with a picture of a sail on it. i have been every where for this watch and guess dont seem to have it on their website but it honestly looked real and it had all the guess stand and everything i am so desprete to have a look and see if i can get this watch.
