Q: My son is 15, growing like a weed but railthin. I am at wits end finding jeans that fit. No one seems to sell the size that he needs. I thought Levis 501 would offer that size, but no such luck. I don't mind ordering online, but haven't been able to find companies that even sell this size, I guess they don't consider that some adolescents might be tall, but skinny.......Help please!
A: I agree that clothing for the small male is hard to find. I've found that even at 32 if I go into the USA I can hardly find clothes that fit. I mean I've found pants that're 28 and fit, which is nuts.
I say try a store that sells European clothing, whatever is in your area. I like H&M and have had luck there with jeans that fit. The idea being that European fashions cater more to the smaller person. Also try a big jean store like Jeanmachine, they have a large selection.
The other easy-ish option is to have them tailored, it might be a pain in the ass but it should be doable. The last option that I've heard about recently is to buy women's jeans, because they do fit tighter. Appearantly it's a huge growing trend for men nowadays. Errr just don't mention that they're women's heh.
