How can I unstretch the waistband of my Levis jeans?

Q: Hi, i wear size 32 Levis 505 (Regular fit). My problem is the way I wear them caused them to stretch about an inch. And now they feel too big on me.
What can I do to "shrink" them back down to 32? The tag said they were 100% cotton, so I was hoping a wash in the machine would do the trick, since I just got them and havent washed them yet. Good or bad idea?
What do you suggest?
A: I absolutely hate when that happends, now i always get the size that looks way to small, and a couple wears and they have stretched out a ton
if i were you i would but them in the dryer on high (cotten towels), that should make them shrint, but beware they may shrink in the wrong places and make them shorter but no smaller in the waiste
Yeah washing and drying them in a drier shrinks them. I always end up buying a size up from what I need so they'll fit well after I've washed and dried them.

do clothing stores mis label sizes so fat people will feel better?

Q: i bought levis 505 corduroy pants 31 32. three sizes smaller than my levis 505 regular jeans that are also 31 32..... i mean if you go by the label. this proves capitalism isn't as awesome as it thinks it is.
hey fat people the sizes are mis labeled. it is all a lie.
i wasn't insulting fat people. the corduroy pants even had the exact same tag. the difference was i ordered them from a catalog. jeans came from in the store suggesting the fraud was finely tuned.
A: i don't know but it's really annoying!! I have to try on five different sizes because I can't ever tell which brands are sized which way!
