Wool scarf for men, worn in school?

Q: It's getting really chilly here in my town and I started to wear a Tommy Hilfiger gray wool scarf today. I also have a sore throat and I don't want to make it worse because of the cold. I'm just wondering, do you find it weird to see a 16 year old guy wearing a scarf inside school? Also, if you're a girl, is it something you want you guy to wear? I just need some opinions. Thanks..

Dark gray(no stripes), medium length, Hilfiger logo on ends on both sides. It's wool by the way. :)
You can call my clothing style preppy, but I don't really go with any labels but I usually wear A&F, Hollister polo/shirts with either jeans or plaid/cargo shorts and everything is "deodorized" with Abercrombie Fierce cologne. hah
